To commemorate the 75ème anniversary of the landing, Olivier Mériel, (Photographer reputation beyond our borders) has been willing to return to the site for landing on Gold Beach area, to pay tribute to all the men who fought there in 1944.

It thus reflects the new life of this territory, her new face that still keeps the memory of the war and the fighting that raged. Fortunately, life has resumed and new human stories appeared there.

The installation of Columbia Memorial Ver sur Mer is also one of the driving forces of this project.

Accompanied by several photographers of his photography club, he surveyed all these places and all, they give us, their different and complementary visions of the subject.

Their common point is to work only in photography silver (hence the title Goldbeach-Silverprint) in the tradition of art photography.

The age limit for donating blood is 70 years old. After 60 years, the first donation is however subject to the discretion of a doctor EFS.

After 65 years, one blood donation is authorized and after medical advice.

Can I give if I weigh 45 kg ?
Non.

It is necessary to weigh over 50 kg to donate blood. This minimum weight ensures donor safety and quality of blood products transfused to the patient.

Jazz in the meadows

For the second year, “Jazz in the meadows” stopped in Ver sur Mer to welcome a talented musician Sophie Alour.

Sophie Alour begins its journey in the Vintage Orchestra, XXL training that brings together the best musicians of his generation. Since then, its saxophone never leaves the musical landscape, it implements and actively contributes to its beauty.

Six personal albums and many successful collaborations draw a careful path to diversity but always faithful to jazz she loves.
