To commemorate the 75ème anniversary of the landing, Olivier Mériel, (Photographer reputation beyond our borders) has been willing to return to the site for landing on Gold Beach area, to pay tribute to all the men who fought there in 1944.

« Gold Beach – Silverprint »

To commemorate the 75ème anniversary of the landing, Olivier Mériel, (Photographer reputation beyond our borders) has been willing to return to the site for landing on Gold Beach area, to pay tribute to all the men who fought there in 1944.

It thus reflects the new life of this territory, her new face that still keeps the memory of the war and the fighting that raged. Fortunately, life has resumed and new human stories appeared there.

The installation of Columbia Memorial Ver sur Mer is also one of the driving forces of this project.

Accompanied by several photographers of his photography club, he surveyed all these places and all, they give us, their different and complementary visions of the subject.

Their common point is to work only in photography silver (hence the title Goldbeach-Silverprint) in the tradition of art photography.
